Poppy Chicken
Well I have less than 3 weeks to go if baby number 2 is on time. I'm hoping she'll be early, but pops was 2 weeks late. My bump is huge, and although Poppy waves at the bubu, and blows raspberries on my tummy, I'm guessing she could still be a little surprised when the bubu arrives. I'm feeling alot more chilled out about the birth than I have been, which is just as well as they say fear makes it longer and more painful, due to you being tense i guess, and I'd rather short and painless, or as close as I can get to short and painless!

This is me with my bump back in May, my tummy button, which Poppy decided to call a "nose," clearly visable, nice! and Poppy and Ioan ofcourse having a drink.

Joel has discovered my camera, and we are rapidly building a huge collection of views and other wallpaper foder for him to photoshop, which I guess give a subject other than Pops to file away and look at. Poppy is talking more and more (although she can't say "e" sounds, so Abi is Abum, Daddy is Daddum.) I am massive, 5 weeks to go if the baby (bubu, incidently not babum.) is on time!

Long time since I posted last, well have been slightly distracted by Joel's current contact not being renewed, and therefore, tidying and putting house on the market, (no offers yet), tidying some more, driving down south for interviews, looking at houses, trying to find out where I will give birth, packing, tidying, resting and being tired, having low blood pressure, and low iron. Oh and looking after Poppy who is now rather nippy on two feet, and trying to talk, or just screech loudly. I am now 29 weeks pregnant, and very fat, fortunately all in one place, pretty much.

She has just started walking, although yesterday when I put her down in the garden to do her first bit of Garden exploration, she decided crawling was the way to go, and after patting the grass, and picking up a few sticks, decided to try eating a lump of mud. yummy.

No longer feeling sick, but have been suffering from migraines, which is apparently not uncommon in pregnancy, but you try finding any information on it. Forever hopefull i've had the last of them. Which is a little how Joel and i feel about pregnancy now, I did want a big family but i dont know how many times i want to go through the whole pregnancy thing, (not to mention the birth.... Oh and the hard work afterwards bringing them up!
Have just fished a bit of onion skin out of Pops mouth that she was chewing on in a redneckish way, i'll blame that on her american roots, (and in no way on my lack of sweeping up.)

Chick decides maybe snow is best from the window as its very cold, and gets cheeks as cold as ice cubes when Mummy and Daddy get carried away looking at snow on the trees, on the road, in the wood, etc.
I can't remember the last time It snowed for 2 days (in this country) and we have half a foot now I think. So Joel doesn't feel quite so conned by the british winter this year. Not quite the 3 months of winter he grew up with though.

So, does she look like mummy or daddy in this one then?
Well as the great mummy or daddy debate continues, there is one trait we've decided that has come from daddy, Our girl has a lack of patience, getting very frustrated quickly with manual tasks, "that's just a baby trait" I hear you say, well not actually, my brother and I as babies apparently figured things out quietly. While daddy has been known to have complete flipouts failing to put roof bars on the car. (which I achieved in minutes.....)
